Holland Hospital Joint Replacement Center recognized
Holland Hospital's Joint Replacement Center has been deemed a Destination Center of Superior Performance by the health care firm Marshall Steele and Associates. The center underwent a two-day assessment by Marshall Steele representatives in September that included interviews with key stakeholders as well as an evaluation of patient outcomes. Based on the results of the evaluation, the Joint Replacement Center was awarded the Destination Center of Superior Performance designation. The center performs hundreds of joint replacements each year, working in collaboration with national joint care experts and area orthopedic specialists.
Inpatient surgery, including anterior hip replacement using the special hana® table, is performed at Holland Hospital. The Bone and Joint Center is a key component of the Joint Replacement Center program.
